Zippy is a mature gentleman who came to us because he was surrendered to the shelter by his owners who refused to get him his rabies vaccine. He came to us with only half of his teeth, he was examined by our vet and taken in for a dental which resulted in him losing 13 more teeth leaving him with only a couple of teeth. He will need to be a soft food diet the rest of his life.
Zippy is a wonderful dog and an extremely easy keep, he just wants to be with you and be loved and taken care of. He gets along great with all the other dogs in his foster home which consist of all sizes and ages. He is just a happy go lucky whatever guy:) If you are looking for a small easy keep to be a companion then Zippy is your man. He would be a great dog for an older couple looking for a lap dog and companion, he has lots of love to give.
