Wow, this guy is absolutely, show-stoppingly gorgeous. He requires some brushing (once a week to avoid mats or more to reduce shedding), sheds a bit, and will need regular grooming (every 8 weeks or so). We call him a show pony because he's just so pretty and prances around in circles.

For the right family, he is worth the grooming. He always has a smile on his face and is very excited to meet any new doggie friend. He could be an only dog, but would really prefer a friend. He is on the lower energy side and probably wouldn't want a wrestling buddy.

He came to us as a breeder surrender and is still learning what being a beloved member of a family looks like. He is starting to seek out attention, but is not demanding. He's happy enough to just be in the room with you. But, his favorite is to curl up next to you on the couch.

His teeth were a mess when he entered the rescue. Many were already missing and loads more had to be pulled. He will probably need regular dental cleanings as he ages. I soak kibble in water and mix with a little canned food.

He likes to be held and will tolerate the crate. He would prefer to sleep in bed with you, but will settle in the crate as long as it's in the room with you. He's good on a leash, but will try to run away if the door is open. He must be on a harness so he doesn't slip away. He keeps his crate clean, but may still have a potty accident if not watched. He is getting better about this every day and has been accident free for a bit now. It is still early on in his potty training.

At about 15 pounds, he is a great size. He doesn't stay up under your feet and is learning how to do stairs. He has shown zero aggression to adults, children, or dogs. Untested with cats, but I cannot imagine him not getting along with anyone. He would be fine with kids who have good doggy manners.

His coat is amazing. His head feels like rabbit fur and his right ear is permanently bent (so cute!). The hair on his back is long and semi coarse, which will make matting less of an issue. The white parts actually shimmer like tinsel. Then, he has this wonderfully bushy fox tail. Truly stunning!
