Are you looking for a beautiful life time companion who loves with their whole heart- but just takes a little time to make sure you are the pawfect match for her? Birdie will be that and more for her forever home.

Jay Bird is a stunning, classic petite husky- the perfect size really. Her crystal blue eyes are captivating and hold such emotion, she feels so wise. Despite her Wisdom, she is also a dog you can laugh with (at) because of her many quirks and silly personality.

Jay came to the rescue skittish and scared. Her foster family has worked hard to get her comfortable with them and now she thrives in their house hold. She will never be a "brewery dog" and is more of a homebody- it is where she feels safe and where she can be her energetic, loveable self!

Although she must warm up to people, she absolutely loves every dog she has met so far. She burns her energy playing with her foster dog siblings, sprinting around the yard, and playing fetch. She would be an amazing companion for another dog and will feel comofrtable faster as she would have a sibling to show her the ropes of her new routine!

Despite being shy, J has learned that not all people are bad and she loves being pet and giving kisses to her foster family and those who have spent extended time with her. She will definitely need a patient adopter who can give her a little time to adjust. J will need a home that is willing to leash walk her in their fenced yard until they gain her trust.

J has done wonderful with potty training and crate training! She sleeps wonderfully through the night and knows how to relax and lay down with a toy. She is also the perfect model for photos and is food motivated.

Everyday J becomes more playful and more brave! She needs to adjust and be given the opportunity to be the best dog she can be! J will not go to a home with small children, cats, or chickens. She would do best in a home with another dog, a fenced in yard, and previous ownership or understanding of a working breed. Applications that do not meet the above requirements will not receive a response.
