Meet Jack! This little fella was unfortunately hit by a car, but his luck changed when he found his way into our care. Now he is on the road to recovery in a foster home and in search of his forever family. Jack is scheduled for hip surgery on May 26 th  and will then be available for adoption. If you think Jack is the PAWFECT match for you, please reach out and we will discuss more specific timing surrounding recovery and rehab. Here is what we know about our little buddy so far:

·          Jack is crate trained. He does not potty in his crate or bark when left alone, and he sleeps through the night. This is all great news because Jack is currently on crate rest until he heals. Don't worry, he is getting lots of fun enrichment!

·          Treats and toys are super duper amazing in Jack’s book. He hasn’t met any food that he doesn’t gobble down, and he loves to chew on his puppy toys, like benebones and stuffed kongs (he looooves peanut butter!).

·          Because Jack is on crate rest right now, we don’t know much about his activity level. We would expect that after recovery he will be a typical, fun loving puppy, ready to go on many adventures!

·          Jack is great with other dogs. Again, because he is not yet able to experience all the fun puppy things in life, he has had limited exposure to dog/dog play, but he likes to hang out with his two canine foster brothers and is very respectful of them.

·          We haven’t seen Jack with cats or kids, but we are confident he will be able to integrate into homes with those types of family members since he is still just a young pup.

Jack is one cool dude, and he is ready to wiggle his little booty right into your heart (and onto your couch, if we are being honest). Once Jack is recovered from his surgery, he will lead a normal life with no significant long-term issues. Submit an application today to welcome this sweet pup into your family!
