Meet Dudley. Famous in song and story.  He is the beloved Catahoula / Boxer mix puppy with the brindle coat, that was rescued by Pawfect Match Rescue & Rehabilitation after having been found with a burned face, ears and mouth at 9 weeks old.  You may have seen or heard of Dudley, as his story has been featured broadly throughout the media and internet, including multiple TV news stories. But mostly, he’s made the largest impression on our hearts here at Pawfect Match Rescue.  Dudley is a happy, playful, sweet boy who loves to play with other dogs and people, … or simply to curl up on the couch with a good bone and drift off into a peaceful, snore-filled snooze.  He appreciates good food too, … he’s growing and will likely be in the 60-70 lb. range at maturity. Dudley has received the best of vet care, as do all of our dogs at Pawfect Match Rescue, and our expectation is that he will make a near full recovery from his burn injuries. The hair will likely not return to his muzzle and the skin on his face although healed, could be more susceptible to cuts and scrapes. Dudley is an active and playful puppy who is growing up fast. We likely will not be considering him for a family with small children. As with all of our dogs, we will be looking for just the right forever home match for this adorable and loving creature.
