Ruby is a sweet jindo mix that comes to us from an illegal Korean meat farm.    Humane Society International rescued the entire farm and brought the dogs here to the US for adoption.    Since arriving to her Pawfect Match foster home last fall, we have been working with her to build her confidence.    On the positive side, she shows no aggression, is very quiet, has impeccable outside bathroom habits, enjoys other dogs and cats, and is completely healthy.    More challenging is her fear of people-- she walks well on a leash with her foster mom but will cower when new people approach her.    But Ruby can be led to sit with you on beds, couches, wherever... and once calm she will enjoy head scratches and might even give you some kisses.    Ruby is a survivor and needs a home that can give her continuous patience and love as she learns that people can be trusted.     She is learning how to relax and play.    Do you have a place for her in your home and heart?
