UPDATE: Jewel was returned to the rescue today.. she was adopted from us 4 years ago... reason for return doesn't matter... not her fault. Jewel is around 4 1/2 years old looks like a low riding black lab. So far doing great with all the dogs in her foster home and is very sweet. She will be available for adoption and able to go to a new home in a few weeks. JEWEL IS PARTICIPATING IN THE NEW LEASH ON LIFE PRISON TRAINING PROGRAM. SHE IS SCHEDULED TO GRADUATE WITH HER CGC ON NOVEMBER 21ST. We are still taking applications for her adoption after that date! Do you like low riders? Well, say hello to Jewel. We think she's part lab and part basset. Either way she is stinkin cute. And what a love bug. She's even tempered, loves to play and loves to snuggle. She's great with dogs and kids and would make an awesome family pet. Come meet her at one of our upcoming meet and greets, you will love her!
