Sgt. Pepper is just the sweetest. It is clear that he was very loved. He came to us from a hoarding situation after the owner passed away.

He definitely prefers being the center of attention. He had lived with other dogs before but we believe being the only dog in the home will suit him best. He wants hi hoomans all by himself!

He is shockingly spritely for his little size. We call him a little mountain goat because of his jumping ability. He has even been known to successfully jump up and land on the edge of the bathtub.

He will also need to be groomed regularly, by a groomer that is patient and understands that's not his favorite activity.

He gets very attached, very fast. He will pick a favorite person, but all people are great. He wants to be touching at all times.

Crates are no good for this little guy. He will bark/whine if you leave him, so apartments may be a challenge. He will literally bark at the door or in a crate until you come back. Otherwise, he is a very quiet dog. He really needs someone who works from home, can take him to work with them, or is retired.

He is good with potty training, but there is always an adjustment period and human responsibility. He hates being outside, so he's right down to business and then wants back in. This is not a walking buddy. He also hates going out in the rain. Puppy pads are not his thing.
