Jewel's latest hobby is to grab the back of her foster Mom's housecoat when she's in the kitchen on the slippery floor and hang on for the ride! She looks like someone hanging on to an inner-tube behind a boat. She's very good natured. Jewel met a dog-friendly cat the other day - Jewel just tilted her head, sniffed, then went to find something more interesting to play with. Jewel will do best in a home where there is another dog that likes to play. She loves children - but rambunctious children who do not know how to play gently - with each other and her - scare her. She doesn't like loud noises. Jewel in an excellent snuggler and likes to sleep with her people. Her head on your pillow, nose-to-nose is her preference. If she has had plenty of exercise and play time during the day (and a puppy needs a lot), she sleeps well all night and doesn't whine or wake her people up. We don't know what breed she is - but we can see a little Shepard. Jewel is a happy wiggle-worm and will probably be a medium sized dog when full grown. Her approximate date of birth is July 2006. All Pawfect Match foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.
