Joellen came to us via the South Korean Meat Market Trade.  HSI helped close down the farm she was being held at for slaughter.  You can read more about this here:  http://www.hsi.org/issues/dog_meat/

Joellen is still figuring out life here and how to be a pet dog. She will need someone with lots of patience, but she is coming around and will come ask for head rubs, she really likes those.  She has already learned what fun it is to play with the other dogs in the backyard running around. Give her time and she will be an awesone companion !!  She will do best in a home with another dog.
